RGSA Executive Board elections are held every May.  Terms run June-June with the summer being used as a transition period from one executive board to the next.

RGSA Executive Board positions:

Executive Chair: Chair the Executive Board. 

Administrative Chair: Secretary. Communications director. Webmaster. Keeps RGSA on track.

Treasurer: Manages budget and funding requests. Plays a key role in managing the RGSA Star Card.

Student Health and Services Chair(s): Chair health and student services committee. Address student needs for health and services, create and implement programming, solve problems. Works with medical student wellness committee. This position may be co-chaired.

Social Chair(s): Chair social committee. Build community, create and implement programming, solve problems. This position may be co-chaired.

 

RGSA was founded to amplify student voices on all of these issues and more. It is the forum we have to ensure equal access and opportunity in Roanoke as we would have on main campus; to build a Roanoke graduate community; and also sometimes to just get together and play.

 

Nominations for the 2027-2028 executive board will be collected at the end of May. Individuals may run for one position.  Elections will be held in early June. Nominate yourself; nominate a friend; and run!
